How it works
The Harvey plugin connects ChatGPT to Harvey's AI-powered legal intelligence platform. It supports three core capabilities: (1) General legal inquiries grounded in Harvey's legal knowledge; (2) Analysis and search over your firm's Vault projects — saved work product, memos, and prior documents; (3) Targeted research using specialized knowledge sources, such as UK Tax legislation and HMRC manuals. Discovery tools let users list available Vault projects and knowledge sources. All tools are read-only and operate strictly within the authenticated user's Harvey permissions. Access requires a Harvey account with an active license and the MCP feature enabled by your workspace admin.
